At ALAN Foods, we grow seasonally to provide you the freshest vegetables going around. We grow everything outside with minimal inputs to ensure our produce is completely natural.
Low Food Miles
You can be assured that every vegetable you find in an ALAN Foods veggie box, at the road side stall or in our online store was grown exclusively at our farm in Jilliby, on the NSW Central Coast.
Sustainable Practices
We try to have as little impact on the environment as possible. Our salad bags are compostable and we reuse polystyrene boxes to deliver our produce.

Chemicals
We do not use any chemicals on our farm. Period.
We make compost on site from local waste streams. This is the only soil input we use on the farm to increase/maintain fertility. We strive to have a variety of resources to make the best quality compost.
We raise our own seedlings in specific media to ensure they have a great start. This is all organic with nothing artificial.
